This project was an apartment in Urbana, MD. The goal was to create an ethereal, calm, minimalist, modern space that reflected the client’s lifestyle. Paint was an essential part of the transformation of the apartment. Replacing the old, mustard-yellow color on the walls with a pure, bright white allowed the space to open up and feel more refined. Mid-century modern furniture was placed in the living area with custom art to bring everything together. The result is a sophisticated, bright, understated, minimalist haven that allows the client to relax and escape the chaos of everyday life.

A before shot of the main living area - the space was very dark and dated with the paint color and vertical blinds.

After - the space is a complete contrast from the original state. Bright white paint on the walls, modern, sleek furnishings, and a soft, neutral palette throughout.
